It has been a rapid-fire start to the school year: new faces, new classes, new administration, and, unfortunately, a new adviser for the Betsy Scrivener.  Mr. Dustin Hensley has taken over a new class called Research Institute, a class designed to change the future.  In so doing, he has left the Scrivener in the hands of yours truly.

We at the Scrivener ask your patience in this transitional stage.  If a completely new adviser is not bad enough, we have no returning members of last year’s Scrivener to rely on.  While the reporting of school news is in very capable hands, it will take us a little while to get the Scrivener up and running properly. Don’t give up on us; we will return soon.  In our return, look for new articles, a new podcast, and a variety of different journalism styles to make you want to see more.  In the mean time, help us keep up to date by suggesting interesting stories for our young journalist to pursue.

Remember, out of truth comes light.
