The Elizabethton High School softball team won the District championship this past Thursday, May 10th. This win wasn’t an easy one for the Cyclones. The record against Unicoi was 1-1, therefore the game could’ve gone either way, but the Lady Cyclones came out on top.  They battled Unicoi County twice and pulled out a win both times. The players and coaches have prepared so well for this year, and they’ve work great as a team.  As a whole, they have been great communicators with each other, and they are not only close on the field but off the field, as well. Coach Jon Snodgrass commented, “Every individual does their job which translates to a successful team.” The team’s record is 24-1, which is very impressive. Lady Cyclones, we are rooting you on, and we can’t wait to see what all you will accomplish! Best of Luck to our girls!
