The Greatest Showman is a historical musical based on the life of P. T. Barnum and his creation that changed the way society sees things. While using a diverse cast and a wide range of musical styles, this film was very well put together. The Chemistry between all the actors on screen was simply elegant, and it showed between every line spoken and every word sung. Throughout its entirety, the film it transitions between each stage of Barnum’s life very well. Ellis Rubin did an excellent job portraying the young P.T. Barnum, as did Hugh Jackman playing the adult version of the character. While it had few flaws the film was a little too fast paced, and it felt like it didn’t capture the entire story within the 105 minute run time. The movie was very well done despite being a little lacking in length, overall I would give this film a 24.5/30.
